  1. hi i need to know why we cannot wear rudraksh in hospital as we need protection the most in such places where we can be infected?

    1. Hello Rajesh, As you know, hospitals are places where many lives are lost, and they often hold a significant amount of spiritual energy or entities (spirits of deceased patients [In case of premature death/अकाल मृत्यु]). Since rudraksha is a powerful storage medium for energies—both positive and negative—there is a possibility that these entities might attach themselves to the rudraksha you are wearing.

However, this depends on several factors:

      1. Is the rudraksha you are carrying energized or not?
      2. If it is energized, the method of energization matters too:

      2.1 Normal (basic rituals)

      2.2 Vedic rituals

      2.3 Tantrokt (tantric methods)

      2.4 Aghor Padati

2.5 Shakti Pradit Vidhan (energized as divine power guidance)

Lastly, the duration of protection also varies: does the energized rudraksha retain that spiritual energy permanently, or only for a limited time?

These are important considerations when wearing rudraksha in hospitals takes place.

  2. I am a 78 almost 79 year old woman who never was ill. At 76 I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer a very aggressive form. I believe I am healed for the moment, but in the high stages of recurrence. I have no family left and lost my only child (son) 3 years ago. I have no siblings that I know of as I was adopted. I cared for my Mother of 95 with Alzheimers and due to her illness lost our home of 43 years. Now I am having a very difficult life, but still have such faith to surmount obstacles. I have to live with a very difficult person to keep a roof over my head and the rent froths person is never paid on time, so I have to move within 30 days with no place to go. This person is very negative and mean of nature. I must get out of this situation and try and survive on my own. I had a beautiful life at one time and now it is in shambles. I cannot give up. Do you believe a Rudshakra of 5 faces Mala would be good for me? Please advise. I thank you sincerely and Blessings to you.

    1. Namaste Gloria ,

I felt emotional reading your message. You’ve been through so much in life—more than most people can even imagine. Yet, you’re holding on to your faith in Shiva. That strength, that belief, is truly inspiring.

A 5 Mukhi Rudraksha mala can definitely help you. It’s known to bring peace and strength and protect you from negative energy. But I don’t want you to think about buying it. I want to send you this mala as a gift. It’s my way of supporting you in this difficult time.

Please share your address, and I’ll make sure it reaches you as soon as possible.

Always remember, Shiva is with you. These struggles are not forever—they are just a phase. Keep your faith strong, and trust that things will improve. You’re not alone in this.

      Sending you love and blessings,
      Jhivansh

  3. Namaste,
I have a couple of questions about Rudraksha. My questions may sound stupid and ridiculous but it’s very important for me to get clarifications before I commit myself to something so sacred. I would appreciate your suggestions on these questions. The following are the questions:
Q1. Can we eat Garlic and Onion after wearing Rudraksha?
Q2. What if we are travelling or somewhere outside and the only food available to us, contains Garlic and Onion?
Q3. If we are travelling by train or through a highway and the only option or place available to us at that time serves both Non-Vegetarian and Vegetarian food? Should we eat at such places?
Q4. What if, due to some unavoidable circumstances or even by mistake, we go to a Hospital, Morgue, Cremation Ground or visit a New Born Baby? What should we do then?
Q5. What if, we are travelling or somewhere outside and need to use the bathroom or in certain cases go into the bushes if it’s urgent?
Q6. What if we are staying in somebody else’s house as a guest or at a hotel and don’t have the option to remove and keep the Rudraksha at a Puja Sthal while using the bathroom or during sleep? What should we do then?
I sincerely hope to get your valuable insights into the above questions as I travel a lot and often find myself in such situations. I am eagerly waiting for your response.
    Dhanyawad.

    1. Namaste Tapash Ji 🙏
First of all, thank you from the heart for such honest and thoughtful questions.
You’re not alone — these are real-life concerns that many sincere seekers have but often hesitate to express. I genuinely respect your openness.
Let’s go through each of your questions together — simply, practically, and with the clarity that comes from both personal experience and scriptural truth.

Q1. Can we eat Garlic and Onion after wearing Rudraksha?
Yes, you can. Garlic and onion are part of many people’s everyday food, and Rudraksha doesn’t reject you for what you eat.
Ideally, sattvic food (without onion/garlic) is preferred for intense Vedic sadhana, but for someone who is working, traveling, or living a worldly life — it is absolutely okay.
Rudraksha is not here to judge you — it is here to uplift you.
However, from a scriptural standpoint, specifically as per the Shiva Mahapurana, one is advised to avoid tamasic items like garlic, onion, and non-veg while wearing Rudraksha — especially if you wish to align more deeply with its spiritual vibrations. It’s a choice based on your inner intention, not a fear-based rule.

Q2. What if we are travelling or somewhere outside and the only food available to us contains Garlic and Onion?
It’s completely fine. Eat what’s available with awareness and gratitude. Rudraksha is not a restriction, it’s a reminder.
Being rigid is not the path of real spirituality. Consciousness matters more than the ingredient list.

Q3. If we are travelling by train or through a highway and the only available place serves both Non-Vegetarian and Vegetarian food — should we eat there?
Yes, you can eat at such places — just stick to pure vegetarian food while wearing Rudraksha.
The location doesn’t define the vibration — your intention does. Shiva doesn’t live only in temples — he lives in your truth.
If your heart feels unsettled, you can even go for a fruits-only or light sattvic meal. But again, practicality and devotion can coexist.

Q4. What if, due to some unavoidable circumstances or by mistake, we go to a hospital, cremation ground, morgue, or visit a newborn baby?
These are natural parts of life — don’t worry. After such visits, take a simple bath if possible. At the very least, wash your hands, face, and feet.
Rudraksha holds divine energy and doesn’t get “spoiled” easily. But in rare cases, such as exposure to premature death (अकाल मृत्यु) or highly charged karmic spaces, some energies can subtly cling.
To completely purify and reset, it’s good to do a simple Rudraksha puja at home with water, milk, and chanting. This is a preventive and respectful step — not a fearful one.

Q5. What if we are travelling or outdoors and urgently need to use the bathroom or bushes?
Wear your Rudraksha 24×7 — in all situations — for the best results.
This is clearly mentioned in the Shrimad Devi Bhagavatam Purana.
Life is unpredictable, and Rudraksha is meant to walk with you — not to be removed in discomfort. Just continue with trust and respect.

Q6. What if we’re staying in someone else’s house or a hotel and can’t keep Rudraksha in a Puja Sthal while using the bathroom or during sleep?
Already explained above — but let’s go a little deeper.
“Is sansar mein jo kuch bhi hai, Shiv ka hai, aur jo Shiv ka hai, wo Shiv hai.”
In this world, if anything exists — it is Shiva’s. What belongs to Shiva is sacred, whether we see it as pure or impure.
This is beautifully described in the Srimad Devi Bhagavatam. There is no place in this world where Shiva’s energy is not present. So wear your Rudraksha with faith — even if there’s no formal puja space.
Keep it respectfully, wear it with sincerity, and let the love in your heart be your offering.

      Final Thoughts:
Rudraksha is not meant to complicate your life — it’s a path to inner freedom.
It walks with you through travel, uncertainty, modern life, and chaos. You don’t need to be perfect — you need to be real, conscious, and devoted.
So don’t worry. Walk your path with trust. And if ever in doubt, I’m just a message away.
